After plenty of research decided on an 08 528i as a weekend family car. It's a 2 owner car, garaged, lowered, and with F10 style 351 rims. 97k miles.
Daily is a FJ Cruiser and the other weekend car is a 54 Chevy.
Really, really like how the 528 drives! Can't imagine how hard the 550 or 535 must pull.
Reading up on what needs to be done and going through owner receipts, probably cooling system soon. Getting detailed this week.
Looking forward to contributing and glad this site exists.
