Thanks for the warm welcome guys
I do actually still own a second BMW lol, my first ever BMW in fact, an old 1991 E34 525i Sport, still runs beautiful and solid mechanicaly, just awaiting some TLC to bring the paint back into order , how I miss a mechanical LSD on modern cars
The wheels on my old E46 were Wolfrace Shark 18inch deep dished staggered offset, 8.5j up front with 225/40/18's and 9.5j @ the rear with 255/35/18's
Sold them today in fact to a fellow BMW owner on the E46 zone forums actually, nice to know they went to a good home
My modding inspriration comes from this picture on the Hamann site.......
I will be basicaly trying to build a replica of this car, my car is also Carbon Black
I got a quote from Hamann today for those 20"rims, ?6.7k GBP !!!!! thats like $11500 USD ffs........so they are out of the question for sure, found some suitable 19" replicas on the Bay but they are in the US and I would have to import them myself, I have no idea how to go about doing that atm tho, the 19" option I think should still look the business without the silly expense for the rubber !
