My Ride: '09 535i
Hey everyone,
My name is Garrett. I got extremely lucky because I'm going to college on a full ride! My dad was so happy, that he gave me his two month old, '09 535i! Proud to say that I'm one of the few 18 year old e60 owners. I don't know a whole lot and my budget is limited, so please give me any advice you might have.
Thanks,
Garrett

Garrett!
Did you also happen to hit jackpot on megamillion lotto? haha sounds like you're a pretty lucky guy, bro! Honestly, I bet you probably worked your a$$ for that scholarship, so it is deserved anyway...
Don't do anything I wouldn't do when you're macking it hardcore on that full-scholarship in your daddy's Bimmer!
Remember: whatever you do to this car, don't act like you got it for free!
Aight, I'll stop messin' with ya. Congrats, man!
BTW 'round this forum, you get mad props soon as you post up some pics of your ride - that'll get you rolling on ideas for mods. Would also be nice to see the specs of your car, options, packages and so on - just gives a better idea of what you're working with.
My suggestion, since you're on a limited budget, don't get anything big for a while and put some money away for mods - wheels and tires cost money, so do body kits - I'd stay away from that for now and get the small things off the classifieds and craigslist/eBay and so forth. Are you good with your hands? Dig through DIYs and find mods that you like and think you can do on your own. We have young hot girls painting their calipers and stuff out here (AWG) and then we have people who are just here for plain old fun. Whatever you do, you're more than welcome to explore. If you have any questions, never hesitate.

btw, I really like the ACS/ACS replica front lip. it's appealing because it's a little cheaper than an M-tech but still looks cool. any idea if they make these for 08-09 e60's? I believe I have the LCI model. any links or suggestions would be great
