My Ride: 530xd, 2006, 231hp
4-wheel-drive, Monaco metal blue, Dakota beige leather interior, fine wood trim, extended lighting package, adaptive Headlights, headlight cleaning system, PDC, extended automatic air conditioning, ProNav, ipod connection, skibag, electric engine/interior heating, thb200 sub, 19" M6 wheels, Schmiedmann frontspoiler lip, tyre control, servotronic
Hello everybody.
Thanks for this great site.
Last week i get my first BMW ever.
My ride is model 2006/65000km 530xdt with manual gearbox.
I like that this car is quality, silent and stay home in roads
and goes better when speeds goes up (In finland you must
drive like a snail), drivers car!
Last three cars has been automatic so i like to try the manual.
I have make several work trips and i am impressed,
car are more than i expect (smooth and very comfort).
Four wheel drive is better than Volvo V70XC (model 2001) wich i
have earlier. I change V70XC to Grand Cherokee wich i like very
much. I can tell that Grand Cherokee has excelent four wheel
drive when you must go out of road.
But i take everything out of my jeep and want it to try something
different, i am happy to choice the BMW.
3.0 diesel engine is strong and very powerfull after 100kmh.
My 530 is dark metal blue (monaco or else..?), beige leather interior
(not sport), ProNav, wood trim, ipod-connection (in use), skibag, mirror
and interior led-lights (i like those mirror led-lights), business stereo
(Jeeps infinity gold with separate amplifier was much better)
After change Jeep WJ4,7/V8 gasoline to 530xdt the mpg goes down
13,7ltr/100km to 7ltr/100km (alround driving)
I took my new ride direct to work and been in businestrips four days in
this week but after i have wash the car and take some pictures i
will transfer to here.
