Hi everyone!

My husband purchased a 1997 528i for me last week. The car has 145,000 miles on it so I hope we got a good deal. I came across this site by accident but I am hoping that I can learn a lot about my BMW. I have never owned one and was hoping for a newer model. However, my car is nice.

Welcome goadgirl01 but as Phill said, you have an E39 so you might not get the same satisfaction from this board as you would if you had a more current E60. He's also correct that many of us have some experience with E39 cars -- I went through two of them before moving to an E60...
Have fun and congrats on your "new" car!
