Hi from Bournemouth, UK
Hi everyone just joined and already have benefitted from this forum. Recently bought a 2010 F10 520d SE in Space Grey with cream leather interior (really nice combo imho). Loving the car, however, last evening the drivers window anti trap error came on meaning I couldn't use the one touch closing. Rang the garage I bought it from and have it booked in for Wednesday together with a loan car....However, just browsing the forum, saw a thread about anti trap, decided to give the solution a try...and Bingo! It worked, window working fine both ways and the error has cleared from the iDrive and warning triangle has disappeared from the dash!
Rang the garage to cancel the booking, but they said to leave it till Monday to ensure the problem doesn't return, and then phone and cancel then if it's still ok.
So thought the least I could do was to join this forum, and pass on my thanks. I do tend to keep away from owners forums a lot of the time, as they tend to scare the life out of me, and it always seems as if people constantly have problems with the cars I own :-)
Anyway, thanks again, and will keep using this excellent forum !

Thanks for your story, Billy, and welcome to the forum .
The nature of forums like this is that people usually only post when they have problems or questions. We do have a fair share of those who share positive things though, and we just added your post to the list!
Good luck with your car and we look forward to your continued participation in the forum.
