Hey everyone,

New guy here, finally decided to introduce myself after prowling all over and finding tons of good information.

I'm currently stationed out in Hawaii, bought my 2010 528i (Silver) back in August of 09. I've done a couple of minor things over the past few years, such as a new sub in the trunk (one 12" with a separate amp on the roof of the trunk to run the sub), 35% tint all the way around, and most recently, the M5 bumper and black kidney's from Umnitza. Still debating the whole new wheel/tire deal (looking at some matte VMR V701s, not sure how they'd look on silver), and would love my car Alpine White (which is what I originally wanted), but that's another pretty penny. Taking things slowly, but plenty of stuff I'd love to do.

Don't mind the lack of fogs in the pics, still waiting on the ones that will actually fit the new M5 bumper (mine weren't the right fit).

Thanks for all the great info so far, keep it coming!

Dude, first of all, Now, second and third: you need wheels - believe me, once you get them, you'll be like "how come I didn't do it sooner". V701 are nice, but you really gotta get the whole stance right for them, bc they are light. If you went with something like VMR V710, you might actually get away with leaving suspension stock for a while. The color is great, if you get some gunmetal wheels, together with your matte black kidneys which brings me to my last point: your shadowline isn't done, is it? If you're into DIYing, check out the DIY section on this forum, there are pretty cheap and relatively easy and quick ways to get it done. Your car's gonna look really different - especially, in that color

Anyway, Good luck!

Looks great. You should have the fogs by now yes?
