Hello from Miami

Hey Guys,
My name is Greg. I'm the new owner (as of October) of a 2004 Alpine white 530i (12/03 built date). After debating whether to get a new car or used, I decided that as long as I got an upper class car in great condition with a reasonable warranty package, I would be driving a much nicer car for my money. One day I went to the local Carmax, to get an estimate for a car I was trying to get rid off, and I saw the 530i. It was in the best shape ever, and I decided to go for it. I liked the no hassle system of Carmax and after checking the car out on kbb, I saw that it was a good deal. I also signed up for their 4 year extended warranty as it's no longer covered by the factory, so I should hopefully be worry free for a while to come.
Besides the couple of times that I found my trunk open by itself, I love the car, lol (i've been reading on here about the ghost in the trunk that pops open the trunk when it feels like it). This car is the perfect daily driver. I didn't care much about horsepower as my weekend toy is a 450+ rwhp Toyota Supra. I'm still impress however at how quickly it picks up speed. The way it drives is impressive. It's not my first BMW, wifey currently drives an X3, and back in the days, when I was a teenager, my uncle used to let me drive his B3 alpina in the Caribbean island where I grew up which is when I fell in love with BMWs. I've been reading a lot on here, and I'm one who searches before asking questions. I'm now trying to find a local dealer that will not ask for an arm and a leg to update my iDrive to support MP3 playback and eventually do the ipod retrofit.
Now that I?ve reunited with my own BMW, I hope to be on here for a long long time.
