Hello from Franklin, TN - 535i
I just picked up a 2008 BMW 535i over the weekend with 78k miles (125k kms) that is blue with the beige interior. Car is in great shape, runs very smooth and everything seems to work.
This is my second BMW. My first one was a 2001 330i that I spent nearly what I purchased it for in repairs but it had developed a piston slap so I traded it in for an Acura ILX.
The ILX was a nice car, dead pan reliable (being new of course) but it was slow and small. So I saw this BMW on the lot, it stole my heart and I'm hoping it also doesn't steal my wallet.
On these forums you do tend to get a lot of people who have problem vehicles but you don't hear much from the majority who have great running cars.
I live in Franklin, TN which is a beautiful area with a moderate climate, friendly people, great restaurants, charming feel, and lots of celebrities who live here because of its proximity to Nashville.
