Hello everyone
I just wanted to say hello to all the members of this board! I currently reside in Seoul, Korea and just bought a Titanium Silver 530 with black trim, active steering, dynamic drive, comfort seats, etc.
I hope to get a lot of assistance from the board, as I plan to make some modifications to my car. First off, I am considering 19" rims for my car (either Hartge Classics or BBS RXII) and I was wondering which rims you guys would recommend (even if different from above).......thanks for you help.

Hello! Nice to hear from someone in Korea!!
I like the BMW style 89 rims...but they are 18's. I believe they make a similar rim for the 760 in a 19" style. My car has the #124 18" wheels. I love them.
Personally I think that BMW makes the best looking rims and I have never liked non-BMW rims on a BMW. Many people will disagree with my opinion but I think BMW designs are brilliant.
Nice choice of colors on your E60!

Thanks for you reply guys. I also thought about putting on #124 18" rims on the car (I think it looks awesome) but I wanted to personalize my car a bit so I am looking into buying some aftermarket rims. Unfortunately, they don't have many of these aftermarket rims in stock so I'll just have to take my chances with my purchase (I'll make sure I browse through the net for pictures though).
My only concern was weight......would anyone know of any good-looking and light rims that would complement my car? Your help would be appreciated.

The wheels were the last thing that I fell in love with on my car. I called them turbine wheels at first, but over time have come to appreciate the 124 wheel more and more. They actually measure 19.5" to the extreme and fill the wheel wells nicely. So, I forgot about spending the big bucks on wheels and if I do anything it will be related to performance, not styling.
Hartge530: Welcome to the party! I'm sorry I don't have major wheel advice for you but there were two (oops, three) humbly submitted suggestions:
1) Update your profile to include your country (or continent0 in the Location field.
2) Update your 'signature' to describe your car, e.g. specs, color, delivery date, whatever.
3) A few weeks ago, someone put up a pool asking what continent we lived on, to get a distribution of members. It would be cool if you found and voted in that poll. It can be found by using 'search' and looking for 'continent' in the subject field.
Congrats.

Welcome aboard - I'm new myself! This is a great forum - lots of helpful information.
I think BBS makes incredible wheels, and I've ordered 19" RS-GT's for my car. I was looking at the RX II's but read some posts where there was some minor rubbing on the rear with 10" wheels (don't know if it was the RX II or not). If there is some rubbing, you'll have to get the lip of the fender rolled a bit - not a big deal, but you ought to check this out before buying. Enjoy the new car!
