Hey all.

I'm looking at picking up an 06 or newer 550i. Unfortunately the struggle is finding one with a manual transmission. What I will say is I work for a BMW Dealer here in Cincinnati. We've got an 06 550i, but it's the auto. I love it, but I don't want to settle. I won't say which dealer, though being new to the forums.

I do have a few questions though, just as with any car there are usual problems that pop up with these things I'm assuming. What should I be looking for when I look at one? For some reason everyone seems to think the E60 is much worse in the reliability department than the E39..which I find hard to believe.

Any tips or tricks?
