hi just came across this site as a bmw lover my self and on my third one all been 5 series.

my husband two years ago persuaded me to get bmw and I was against it as just thought of the cost and fuel needle disappearing but now on my third bmw I am fully converted and wont come out of them.

had a 530d on a 04 plate first and thought that was great but had fault with gear box and couldnt get to bottom of it so our local dealer said he would put us into another one so we decided to go into a 535d on a 55 plate and it had it everything from heads up display to seats that heated you cooled you and massaged you lol! kept that 18 months I am a prison lawyer so do lots of miles a month! we have now got the 635d on a 57plate and that is one fast car and excellent on fuel still however its not practical being a coupe so we will in a couple of years go back to a 5 series again.

We were told by our local dealer and as dealerships go are very good that september 2010 they are bringing out the new 535d at 306bhp so looks like that will be our next one. Hubby still talks about maybe the M5 yes would love it but the price of road tax puts me off!! lol

one fully converted BMW owner.

on board and enjoy the forums!

That's a great car history you have there and you mentioned one of my favourite options, namely the the cooling seats -- I'm loving mine at the moment with the warm weather!

Enjoy all those miles in the 635d!

Welcome Clare, those are some nice rides you've had.

I'm on my first Bimmer, and glad it was a 5series. I think i'm fully converted, or at least as far as sedan ownership goes from here on out.
