My Ride: E60 M5 MT
Good evening from Phoenix Arizona
Purchased a 2007 E60 M5 Manual Trans in July, enjoying it so far. About the car... 116K miles, has most options, it's black, black wheels and white interior... driver's seat is pretty worn out. What I've done so far:
1. Installed TPM sensors (they were missing)
2. Repaired malfunctioning lights (halo and flasher)
3. Oil/Filter change and Blackstone Analyses
4. BPM Tune
5. New battery (figured out how to register it using INPA)
6. Cosmetic stuff, (new emblems, new gills, tried to polish the foggy headlight)
Have a few projects waiting... have a set of Longtube Headers to install, new rear tires (dealer takeoffs from a Corvette) to install, rod bearing to install (lots of parts gathered for that), spark plug replacement, and learning some coding to try to reconfigure the M Drive settings so it starts in P500 Sport mode, and also would like to be able to turn the DSC off (it does not turn off holding the MDM button, and there is no OFF setting for the iDrive)... down the road install the next generation of iDrive, and do something about the wear and tear on the interior.
