Hello forum. STL530i here from St. Louis. I just bought a 2004 530i, black on black for my 30th b-day in March. I have been blown away by the BMW following. Everywhere I go and the people I talk to all have nothing but positive things to say about there BMW. I sat on the phone with a tire salesman for 30 minutes talking about his dad's BMW and how he loves them! I'm already looking ahead for a 545i or maybe a X5 for the family SUV. I use to dream about the 745 as my dream ride but the 530i has impressed me to the point where I'm fine with a 5.

I'm here on the forums to learn more about BMW's from fellow BMW lovers.

to the forum and congrats on your toy. Post some pics when you get the chance, they are not mandatory..but are appreciated. . Any plans to mod your car...if not..you will have some soon . Happy belated 30th birthday also...I join the dirty thirty club this coming september and also am in my first bmw/e60. Good choice on the 5 over the 7 series, I think the 7 is just too big and not as sporty as the 5. (5 > 7 in my book). Enjoy the forums....
