Just a quick question:

I want to upgrade my 18' rims to 19', I like 2 models but can't decide which one to buy, which one do you like more ??

As a little update: the M kit just cam in today aswell as the LCI taillights the car is going in the shop Monday morning.

So the rims:

Style 128 or style 172 which one do you like more?

Attachment 72102 Style 128

Attachment 72103 Style 172

Thanks guys!
They are both nice wheels. I think 128 is more rare since it doesn't come with any package in North America as I recall and it certainly look more sportier. 172 is more contemporary.

A little update on a couple of small mods

fitted the M172 rims looks great! Riding on 255/35/19 on the front and 295/30/19 on the rear (Michelin - Pilot SPORT PS2).

Fitted the LCI tail-lights (with a german retrofit kit.

A small but nice mod: I changed the stock shifter (knob) with a short shifter Knob (ordered the knob from a E92 catalog). It really looks great! It gives a nice touch to the interior and looks way better then the original one, and I like the look now with the shifter and LCI i-drive knob.

LED License plate lights

M Kit (Only installed the rear bumper, will intsall the rest of the kit next week, incl. rear wing)

That's about it I think. Will do a small DIY for the removal of the shifter and how to make the new shifter fit

Nice mods, inside and out

Was the LCI iDrive knob a straight fit? I want to replace my pre-LCI iDrive know, but BMW told me the LCI one would not fit
