detachable tow bar

i recently purchased a 2005 525d se. the dealership put leather in to sweeten the deal.
i purchased a westfalia detachable tow bar (303294) to fit to the car as it is completely invisible when removed and does not require the bumper to be cut. it does however require a part to be purchased from BMW. the part is a replacement undertray that is reduced in depth. (B51127178189)
i also purchased a tow bar wiring kit from BMW (B71600300956) it comes with a couple of different trims and a mass of wiring. the dealership printed off details of fitting for me but im at a loss. there is a multiplug for most of the wires, but four of them are independant. one of these is the earth, which is obvious. the other three are not so obvious.
where do they go?
does the car need to be reprogrammed?
