Hey rice_rocket88, thanks for the reply. The sunroof doesn't sit flush on driver side only where the two glass meet, the forward glass sits slightly lower than the back glass only in that driver side corner. Here are some pics.

it seems simple, but i don't know what it entails. I've search the forums for only one side not being flush but couldn't find anything. Wind noise comes in through there and as i'm driving, i'll push that corner up from the inside and the wind noise stops.I wont be using it if rigging it closed works.

It looks like maybe the seal could be warped. That stupid sunroof rubber had a recall or something like that, but my 08 is well out of warranty. It makes a lot of wind noise and the solution is to replace the rubber gasket, which I've been too lazy to do. I just close the sunroof cover and it's quiet. I wouldn't be surprised if the rubber is catching on your sunroof so that it doesn't pop shut (which is why you can just push it up). I had a similar issue on my Evo, which I put some lithium grease on the gasket and it would pop shut better.. Maybe you can try that... the gasket is like $30 from a lot of places.. just don't feel like the hassle for me
