West it was your 550 build thread that sucked me into the forum (beautiful car btw). I bought this car to build a sleeper and looking for expert advice on how much these can really handle. Your thread answered most of my questions for now.

Its going to be stock for a few months, my wife's car is inline for some mods before this one.

Thank you for the kind words. Also nice to see another Seattle guy lurking around.

"sleeper" - So you're planning to build a beast? Sounds like fun! Feel free to pop questions over to me in private if you have any.

What car are you planning to do for your wifes car?

Right now it feels like a sleeper, I'm sure I will have questions, I weekend warrior the easy stuff but anything major I will have someone do the installs. If you have any suggestions on an good independent shops send me a PM, new to BMW mechanics. I saw you mentioned one from Kirkland who did the SC.

Wifes car is a 03 Discovery, needs some minor TLC. No cool mods, just new bumpers (steel), needs new exhaust (keeping it stock) and headliner needs replacing, drain tubes popped off so need to get that nailed before it really starts raining. Slow oil leak from the valve covers drips right on 02 sensor, needs new seals. Just did the 100k service minus that, It's been flawless.

Thanks again!!
