Hmm, seems to fit right in with the OP's statement that, "My 530i is stock beyond the Sports Package and K&N air filter, but hope to be loading up on some gear from Trinity in the near future among other things."

Since he's gonna get some gear, I want to know what goodies he thinking about putting on his ride.
And so it begins.................................

Yeah once folks start modding, they can't stop.

Welcome to the forum, James.

As for the BT and iPod solutions, you should also consider Dension 500. A few members have it and are very please with the result. GL

James congrats on the new ride, nice color choice! I'm in the Atlanta area too, let me know where you plan on having yours serviced, I have a good service tech recommendation at a local dealership if you're interested, it might be a little far for you though. I found a great dent/ding removal guy too, I hope you never need him!

Thanks.

To the OP: what specific mods are you planning to make?
Not quite sure. I know Im going with the the usual RPI scoop, cat back exhaust, and chip, but I really can't seem to find much for the 530's M54 engine without serious investment (at which point I might as well bought the 545i).

Amenities wise, I have the LED angel eye kit and HID fogs on order.

Here is my first official DIY mod. I got tired of my phone being thrown around the cab (the center cubby is worthless) so I scarified my iPhone dock and mounted it into the ashtray. Using some Sentra (a version of PVC) and a dremel took about 30 minutes. This weekend I will connect the back to my ipod kit.

Ha, I just noticed your color in the signature

Sure. I am still on my CPO and maintenance warranty so if they accept that I would defiantly be interested. Shoot me a PM with the details.

I really like the way you set this up with USB plug sitting next the iPhone adapter. Great job. More DIY details please.

Thanks..

That plug came from a Belkin Car kit I purchased years ago, which has been great for keeping various USB gadgets charged on long trips.

It was super simple, but I took a TON of pictures so i'll do a quick write up.
