My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets.
First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.

Do I gather that you are in the military, and bought your car through some special BMW military store? Intersting. My first BMW, a 1971 2002 was purchased through the Canadian PX in Germany (American PX didn't "stock" them). Hope you were able to get a good deal on it, and of course, US Specs if you intend to bring it home.
Enjoy your time here, and keep in touch when you get back there. Oddly, there are very few German participants here.

Thanks everybody. I wish I had taken pictures before getting the new wheels. Those wheels are actually the ones I got after deciding I needed snow tires. I have the sport package and those 18" RF's had me sliding all over the road. Within days, I was at the dealer to donate more cash to his coffers. The dealer will store my other tires/wheels for 20 Euro a quarter. My wife loves the car and is particularly impressed with the NAV system. I'm glad she will never get lost with that thing. Neither of us are military, just DoD. We could still purchase through the Military sales program. Options include- sport package, cold weather package, premium package, PDC, Steptronic, and NAV.
