Hi guys - I only have one regret: That we didn't have a chance to just hang out as a group and get to talk to each other without rushing from one plant to the next. Other than that - WE HAD A BLAST!!!!

Also, we were about to park our cars between the FIZ building and the water fountain (a courtesy arranged by Friederike) for what would have been a fantastic group photo (FIZ in the back of all the cars), when we were told that the big meeting by BMW AG board of directors had run short and security would no longer allow the cars on the premises. Apparently they'd elected a new CEO that day so it was a busy day - but they went ahead with our group tour anyway. THANK YOU BMW!

I hope everyone is back home now safe and sound. I think Nick/Anthony and Alex/Renato/Fernando may still be in travel status. Let's hope they get home safely. Please let us know when you are home so every one is accounted for.

Couple of things:

I thank all of you who participated and made this trip a success. I am sorry for those of you who missed the opportunity, and I hope the reasons were just work-work-work and nothing bad happened to keep you from attending.

Lucio, I hope everything is well at home - I know you had to leave in kind of a hurry. Please let us know.

Next, a special THANKS! to Nick for the great hats, t-shirts and posters he provided (and refused to take any money for). We looked quite dashing "in uniform" arriving at Dingolfing - except we got the "what the hell is a "www.e60.net"??? kind of question all the time.

Next up is Alex. THANKS! for the great coffee and the cool hats - but "what the heck is a Kotobuki" ? I ask...

Next is Peter who came all the way from Prague just to meet with the group and could not stay because of work reasons. That's dedication to the group! Thank you for coming and suffering a 5-6 hour drive just to meet us for diner. I'm am sorry you could not stay.

And shall we not forget Klaus-Henning Hoffman and Alex (didn't get his last name) for the Dingolfing tour and the reserved parking; Friederike Haele for the FIZ tour, and reserved parking as well and Gert Landgraf for the Munich factory tour. And of course, BMW AG for hosting us, for providing views not normally provided to the public and for hosting such a great lunch at Dingolfing and snacks at the FIZ.

ONE THING TO REMEMBER AND I'LL PUT IT RIGHT HERE IN CAPS (though I'm not screaming) IS THE CAUTION THAT BMW WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO SHOW US A GREAT TIME AND SHOWED US THINGS NO ORDINARY PERSON SEES. IN THAT LIGHT, I'D LIKE TO REMIND YOU NOT TO DISCUSS WHAT YOU SAW - ESPECIALLY AT THE FIZ AND THE AFTERNOON SESSION AT DINGOLFING IN THE OPEN INTERNET. DO NOT POST ANYTHING - ANY PERCEIVED "SCOOP" OR SOMETHING YOU MAY HAVE SEEN. 'NUFF SAID!

Alison and I finally arrived home around 03:00 today and we're just flopping around in the heat, waiting to come out of the coma... BTW, she really enjoyed the whole thing and especially meeting all you guys from all over the place (and discussing "shoes and fashion" with Debbie - inside joke ).

I will post more pics later but here are a few from the first day. The one at Dingolfing surrounding the M5 is I think the only one showing everyone in the group as some people left after that day and only a few of us made it all the way through to Friday. The rest are from a great place a block or so from the hotel on the Isar river where we had our first opportunity to meet and chat and have a great dinner.

Last will be a picture we took while driving on the Alpine road around the Plansee. It it weren't for the mountains in the background you'd think it's in Greece somewhere or the Caribbean. The water was crystal clear and emerald green. What a drive it was!!

Again, thanks to all for making this trip such a memorable one for all of us. I am expecting to move back to FL by year's end so let's have more get-togethers between now and then. Just let me know and I'll be there.

Respectfully,

Santiago Fonseca

Thanks for all Santiago it was the best meet ever been to, and it was you who helped this happen. Nickos also thx for the t-shirts and cap. All the guys and mates and even some member wives

We visited w Alex before Oberau the HAMANN HQ so will post. Crazy member Alex rented an M5 and taped a kill where of course Mamba was killed but the drag was not bad as our Brazilian mate said next day. No one mathes the M5's power, but a drilled 550i might be in the neighbourhood of it.

We got back yesterday evening and I will make a pic w my "bug-collection".

The factory was nice and very interesting!!! Also now we know that if we pay we can get a car in even the color of our eyes' if I wud know this before... I wud still get black

now off... have hundreds of pics so I will post the link where they are from the meet, from HM Race day and HM Hq.

cheers ats

HELLO EVERYONE.
It was great, eventhou it was only 3 hours of meet for me.

Thanks Santiago, what a organising job.

Thanks to Nick for all the great shirts and caps that will always bring nice memories when I see it.

It was nice meeting you all and as Santiago said it is a shame that we did not get to really gather together and just talk like we do here on the forum.

So come on guys, we have to do a meet in Prague with plenty of beer and pub session so we can talk out our motor head minds

Here is a pic after "night flight" from the meet......

Hope to see you all again.
