zip tied plate worked for me last year. just a suggestion. have fun, b safe.

also, on the way back from the SLO meet, there were a bunch of CHP hiding behing bushes and overpasses with their radar on. no prob, located via Ka band on V1. i'm pretty sure they'll break out the lidar for the bfest commuters.

I've done the bimmerfest caravan a few times and it's just bad luck if you get pulled over. Some are even unlucky enough to get pulled over multiple times. People shouldn't be too worried though because if you mind your driving, you should be fine.

I don't have too much of a problem with them enforcing these laws, but I don't like how they target specifically BMWs. There could be a Yukon that is speeding with no front plate and dark tint, but instead of pulling that car over, they pull over a BMW doing 70mph for no front plate.

They got me 84 and tinted windows, with windows down (55%) (WTF?) and he only told me that he wrote me up for the speed.

Didn't catch that he wrote me up for tint until he was back in his car. Well to be fair my plates (front and back) were in the trunk and he was cool about that.

My bad as (honestly) my gut told me based on the conversation he was going to let me go until I got diariah of the mouth and mentioned we were heading to Bimmerfest. Before that he seemed happy to learn that we were just a normal couple and not with the group of BMWs that went by just seconds before me.

Looks like I used up one of my lives Oh well... Lesson learned. I'll have to slow down a bit. I need to move to Germany or something. Maybe some track time. Bimmerfest was a blast. Not enough time to shoot the crap with everyone, but great seeing everyone if even briefly.

Tony, Start planning something man, we need something to look forward to. Maybe a poker meet, midway???
