And regarding to location....how about La Paloma (a gelato place) at Weston/Hwy 7. They have a decent size parking lot there. Or else, Dave and Buster parking lot is good as well.

I'm thinking maybe we can meet at a parking lot of a big shopping plaza. On Saturday or Sunday, those parking lots will be vacant by 6:30pm. In my mind I can think of the Brick/Sears plaze at Yonge and Hwy7. They have a pretty big parking lot and the outer rims of the parking lot is alway empty. And best of all, it's closed to the majority of us.

In mid-may, I should've received my H&R springs, m-tech kit, predator ice, HID fog, m trunk finisher, rieger rear lip, LCI tails, temporary 20" rims.........just dunno if I have time to get everything installed.

I am looking to get the tint done as well....any good place recommendation?

Thornhill Tints and a second place dowtown (that i dont remember the name) were highly recommanded to me. both places are execptionally experienced and take in about 90% dealership work. the downtown one actually does BMW & MB dealerships. I haven't decided where to go yet, and price quoted was about $240-$280 from both places. life time guarantee and high quality tints...however i forget the actual material of the tints...i'll find that out shortly

One option is BMW...

Most BMW dealerships offer Formula One Pinnacle series tinting. It's $500 and they do it at the dealer, you get lifetime warranty etc.....

A little pricey....I don't know if "you get what you pay for" applies here?

I've got my tint done by BMW when I ordered my car. I paid $499 + tax for that but I have no idea what I'm getting.

+1 I have dark tints on all my previous cars and never got pull over. (touch wood )

However, I got pulled over last light for my dark tint licence plate cover. The officer told me to take it off and will give me a ticket next time he sees me with that on again. But I still have it on my car now.

Actually...it's the other way around....20% is a darker tint than 35%. The lower the number, the darker the tint. The % coresponds to the amount of light it lets in. In Canada the legal maximum tint is 35% but you can get away with 30% without any problems (in the front windows). The rear windows can be as dark as you want.

The interior color of your car will make a difference as well. A dark interior with a 35% tint looks relatively dark where a tan interior might need 30% to achieve the same effect. All the tints achieve the same heat reduction/uv reduction etc...so tint percentage is really only cosmetic.
