All:
After being a BMW Owner for three years, I am embarrased to say that this was the first time I went out to support the Susan G Komen Race For The Cure Drive Event at BMW.
It's really a great cause and BMW donates $1.00 for every mile you drive towards Breast Cancer Research. Plus, you get to drive all them cool beemers..
If it's heading towards a neighborhood near you, I sure do hope you guys can all go out there and make the forum proud..

Went last year. Plan on going this year. Getting an E60 based on a lengthly drive between locations as a volunteer shuttle driver. Hear they have the M3 this year. Uber fun.

I went over to the Susan G Komen Drive at the local BMW shop (Fields BMW, Northfield, IL) yesterday to drive the new M3 Coupe - WOW.
BMW got it exactly right. Powerful, balanced, agile, aggressive ... and it sounds amazing. All in a package that one could easily drive every day.
There is a short bit of road nearby that traverses down into a ravine and back up again (on Sheridan Road along Lake Michigan), and it features 5 or 6 curves - sort of like a mini-Tail of the Dragon. Driving it will tell you all you need to know about a car, and it was on the suggested routing (heehee).
I ripped through the ravine three times. My jaw hit the floor. I had no idea the M3 was this good. It will do everything you think it can do ... and more ... without breaking a sweat. What a stunning machine.
I may just need to look into the M3 Sedan with M DCT when becomes available.
PS - that M3 has 28,000 miles on it and just had its third clutch installed last week. They go through a set of tires every 5,000 miles.![Tongue](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/tongue.gif)
PSS - they also had a 335D to drive ... didn't get a chance to but heard it is a blast.
