I was back home in my native England a few months ago, visiting my big brother in Stevenage. He knew that I enjoy karting, so we spent an hour on the 550 meter indoor track in Letchworth, which is where English Formula One racing star Louis Hamilton learned how to go fast as a youngster. Track record for a lap is 28.82 seconds, and my best was 31.44. Those 160cc Honda-powered karts were a blast! Racing suits, full coverage helmets, etc., all required. I was SO sore afterward...you tax your muscles in the weirdest of places...i.e. left quadriceps, from late braking into turns.
Bottom line: if you fellow SoCal E60 drivers want to have a GREAT time, let's arrange a meet in Brea. I've never been to this particular place, but it looks fast, safe and fun. So who's going to suggest a date?
