My Ride: 2007 Titanium Gray 550i, with sport, nav, HUD, Logic7, sat radio, cold weather, rear side airbags, rear seat heaters, and it goes like a bat outta hell!
OK......here's the deal! I have a client that owns Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo. They have an Expo Center with a great parking lot up on a hill overlooking the city that rarely gets used......would be perfect for the the meet part. Also, for those traveling afar, I can bring hoses, and there would be places to spruce up your rides, if you didn't want to trust the local car washes (I wouldn't, but that's me!).
I have a couple of great runs I need to take and check out, but basically heading up in the back roads of the county doing a loop that would bring us out to Highway 1 on the coast. We could stop and eat in Morro Bay, or head back to Madonna Inn (if I tell my client we will patronize the Inn, I might get more benefits out of it!). I figure the run to be maybe 35-45 minutes......possibly longer.
So, let me know what you guys think.....give me some ideas for dates. I'm thinking maybe 3rd or 4th week October......very early November. After that, it gets hard with holidays coming......
And Wendell......you don't have to bring any grub!! And Bing, you DO have to bring Coronas and limes!!
I'm hoping this works out so both the northern and southern California folks can hook up. And, if anyone needs help with accomodations for overnight stays I can give you some ideas.
