Frank, do you have Steve's email?
I still have not received my dyno results from them.

hey guys! Dang I need to follow this forum a lot more haha. Great pics and thanks for sharing guys!
As for the dyno...ehhhh it was a bit dissapointing I must say. Here's the deal with my numbers haha.
First dyno was a Classic BMW on a dyno dynamics. Baseline was 374.x We then took out the charcoal filters and ran a 397.x. I then came back and did another run on that DD and did a max of 419 with the bolt ons minus software and rims (was on stocks)
I then did some runs at Autoscope with a set of 21" Modulare M3's in the summer (hotter temperature) and pulled a best of 421. That was with larger, heavier wheels on a hotter day. Now Autoscope's dyno is a Mustang dyno which is known to be slightly less conservative than the DD.
In comparison to that last run, this past weekend was MUCH cooler, I'm running these very lightweight Alloy Technics, and I also have the AA software. Now just to point it out, I'm not sure this guy that dynoed the car knew much of the car. I had to remind him to enable the M mode after the first run which he stated he did not press it. They also ran the car in 4WD mode just as they did the first time I ran at Autoscope. They said that this was due to the fact that they had to do that unless they wanted to set the car into dyno mode. (Ummmm why didn't they do that to begin with? ) Anyways they did 3 runs before switching to dyno mode, in which I did a best of about 419whp. I'll have to go through the videos again. Then switched the dyno to 2wd mode. At that point they told me the car is pretty heat soaked and the car still only ran about 418-419. This was at about the 5th-6th pull in a row.
Now some information they told me was that they have had Mustang in to tune and calibrate the dyno many times since I was last in to make it more accurate/conservative. (even twice in this month alone) When running in 4WD mode, I was told that the dyno is calculating the numbers if my car was 4WD meaning more drivetrain loss and that I should add about 15-18% more to my runs. I find that pretty crazy because that would mean my numbers would be closer to 480whp? No I don't think so lol.
Anyways to make a long story short, from my experience and many others here locally. Dynos are not an accurate determination of how much power your car truly puts down imo. There are WAY to many factors that can alter and determine the numbers a car puts out from one dyno to the next, as well as one day to the next. The ONLY good thing about a dyno is in making a comparison to gains/losses from the addition/deletion of mods. That being done on the same dyno, on similar days.

My Ride: '04 545i, sport pkg, premium sound, sprint booster,
It was good to see everyone there. Between dyno runs I decided to take the simulator for a spin, once I heard the M5 howling I headed on back to watch from the viewing area. Damn guys you ate the pizza quick! I didn't even get a piece. Its all good though.
