You know you can just pop out your hardwired one and mount it in another car with the extra suction cup mount and loop cord right?

My Ride: 2008 M5 -- Exterior: Silverstone, Interior: Black. Fully Loaded. That just about sums it up! :-)

I have too many blemishes on the front already so it won't matter. Wish BMW made a regular leather bra so I can take it on and off for long trips.
Yeah. I was just thinking the same thing the other day. Too late to try and get one before Saturday.
Potential Problem though: When I owned a 944T I was a little neglectful in not frequently removing the Colgan bra. Small sand grit and speeds of 130+ didn't help the paint much.

It was like sandblasting the front end.

The clear bra has worked well although I've heard that those with darker colored cars don't like how much visible the clear bra shows up on the car.

Yeah, I would only use it on the drive and take it off right away. This is what I do with my MDX when we go to Tahoe or LA. Oh well, even if they made one for the M5, I probably can't use it cause of the Hartge splitter.

There's always one in the crowd with the voice of reason...
The reason I don't do this is either:
A) I'm Lazy

or,

I don't want to.

HA!

I have to admit, I've never done it either and I should whenever I take my MDX for long drives. I think I'm A.

In regards to the V1, what band should I be look out for. I know the KA band is what the police has. For me, it seems the K and X band are false signals (i.e. speed detectors, store doors)

ECF, what mode do you suggest people should be on for this trip?

I'm on uppercase L.

Ok, I'm lazy too and I don't want to search back on who is meeting at Peet's in Dublin. I think it is:

1. delje08
2. lokoloko
3. ro11dice
4. bugawako

We'll need to leave by 7:00 to "safely" make it SJ by 7:30. Seeing that we are dealing with all Pinoys, when I say leave by 7:00 that isn't PinoyTime. Bern and I plan to be there at 6:45 buy coffee and head out at 7:00. Cool? Did I miss anyone? I know Turkey5 and Freed0m are hitting the ghey clubs in Vegas and won't be joining

I don't remember what mode mine is on and not sure if it's even the most appropriate mode but it's been the only mode I've used. haha

Will let you know later.
