I have been looking at all the 'meet' pictures off-late (with envy) and wondering if we could pull something like this off in my city/country.

Place : Someplace which involves driving on the Mumbai-Poona expressway. I recently visited Amby Valley and the weather was just perfect or we could even drive down to Poona.

Date : Sometime in December

I don't think we would have enough E60/E61/63/64 members to have a massive meet so Sahil what if we invite all other BMW owners we know? We should have at least 10+ cars to make it fun. I will send an e-mail to owner of Infinity and see if she would be up for it too.

So here goes:-

Suchet,

I'm unfortunatly gonna be traveling most of december bro. But plan it out, if i am in town i'll definatly come for it.

Last year BMW organised an event at Amby Valley where potential customers were allowed to test almost the entire BMW line up on the airstrip. Combined with some professional training and some 4x4 fun. I hope they are planning something similar this year too, that would be just perrrfect.

Do speak with Infinity chaps and ask them of the same, Abhimanyu their sales manager had told me this year Infinity would be organizing a similar event on it's own.

This is a great idea! I, of course, am in the US and would not be able to bring my E60 down [alas!]...but nonetheless, I think the idea itself is very cool. I may be in Bombay mid December so just might be able to bring our old BMW and come out there.. Will keep you posted.

I e-mailed Pooja (MD Infinity) and she would not be organizing any kind of meet this year; I think it's on account of the global financial crisis but she seemed very optimistic about next year.

Anyhooo......with all the crap that went down last week I am totally unmotivated for a speed-packed weekend any time soon.

Let touch base sometime in Jan

I can't attend (obviously) but I just had to add that the name of your get together is the best yet! Mumbai Meet-Greet-Eat-Speed? Good stuff, I hope it's a big success!
