Was impressed with the e65 for the first time when i saw a black one with clear tail light!
Never driven one, but notices that the 745i is quite fast pulling off from red light!When you got your e60 probably you can share what are the trade off! Wondering if it would be as agile as the e60. I came from e46 2.2l and the e60 eventhough bigger in size it is nimble to trash around. After close to 9 months driving it, I still loving it like the first day! The active steering is now a must and there is no going back.
The 545i would be an ideal e60!
Wondering if you can get it below S$300K mark (list is S$317K) after discount and so on?

Good question. Drove the E39 from Aug 2001 till Oct 2002, E65 from Oct 2002 to Apr 2003 and E66 from Apr 2003 till June 2004. I've also got an E46 - 320 which I bought as a 2nd car in Apr 2004. My first 3 Bimmers were bought thru TTS. Not very happy with their attitude; met Jasmine at PML showroom and never looked back since; very nice salesperson.
I actually special orderer the E60 530 in black, with DD, green strip, Logic 7, etc when it was first introdiced, but later rescinded the order when I heard that the engine would soon be replaced. Understand the car actually made its way into SIN and got sold. Anyone here knows someone driving it? Most obvious mark will be the green strip on the windscreen.

The 745I is also quite agile. Believe me; it can fly!!! Thats the reason why I took on the 545I. Can you imagine the same engine in a car that weighs lighter and is smaller in overall size? One thing the 5 series lack is storage space; just like the E39 I used to drive. If you're really keen, the 745I is going at quite a good rate (used). Warning; don't try the car if you don't intend to buy. You'll immediately reach out for your chequebook and regret when you're balancing your chqs later. You'llbe so very impressed by the power.
I am currently driving the E46 2.2. Feels really slow compared to what I used to drive. Pick up is really sluggish and the imterior is really cramped.
Yep, that was my 530 that they were selling off. Jet black. You can get the 545I w/out options at probably SGD 310,000 (after some haggling) I would suggest you wait a while if your budget is SGD 300,000.00. You know PML; they just love to drop prices and I really suspect the next drop will come when they decide to bring the M5 in.

I sat in a 745i once, it was a taxi ride to the E60 launch event from the old turf club. Really impressed with the ride and refinement. I guess it's no surprise that the 7 series has outsold the S-class last couple of years.
Edlee, your 545i is gonna really kick ass. And those options are soooo drool worthy
I still regret not getting Logic7 :'(

Guys, did you guys get to meet on Sunday? If not, can I suggest we meet 4 Sep? My friend, Russel is throwing an anniversary buffet at his workshop. He does waxing and detailing, especially for Bimmers since he was formerly from PML. Some of you might know him. I have been officially invited and can get you guys in if you want to go. He's located at Toh Tuck Ctr. Can give you his address later.

On Sunday only 2 E60s. The rest are mainly E46s.
