Kigerka is right! Absolutely!
I went to their Ostende meet in November driving my E39 540.... Great bunch of people, nice cars, most memorable beach shot ever, and felt a little embarassed with my "old car"!!! Just kidding
We need more bodies

My Ride: 2011 520dA coming up.
I went to slenaken today in order to get the parking spots "in front of the sheep" reserved. the parking lot belongs to:
restaurant 't Brugske
Dorpsstraat 2
Slenaken
tel 043-4573209
I suggest we meet there round 11:00am
I also went to look foor a better place to have lunch nearby. I choose Chateau (Castle) Neercanne. It is situated near Maastricht as well and about a beautiful half hour drive away from Slenaken.
They allow us to use their inner square to park the cars, which is exceptional, so we can have a chat on the terrace and watch our beautiful cars with a very nice castle in the background.
We could have lunch there if you all agree. It's a bit posch to be honest, but they do serve the best food around there.
However, we should get there at 2:00pm because their kitchen closes at 2:30. They were willing to prolong if we go there.
adress:
Cannerweg 800
Maastricht
043-3251359
On our way from Slenaken to Maastricht we can see some beautiful and typical countryside, overlooking valleys and drive through typical hollow roads.
We will pass the American Memorial an cemetery. If you feel like it we could have a stop there since it's on route anyway. AND we'll be there before Bush does
I'm starting to sound like a tourguide now...
Tell me what you think.

My Ride: 2011 520dA coming up.
I have no clue what BMW nav will do since mine is "navless"
My Garmin took me right to the front terrace of the Slenaken restaurant and even uphill to the castle. It should really be not a problem at all to find the places even without nav,
just to be sure I will put up a BMW sign at the entrane of the parking. Perhaps Andy545 could check since it's almost in his backyard.
And I recommend you guys to swap mobile / cell phone numbers through Personal Messages, don't think it would be very wise to throw them over the internet.
If you send me a PM I'll give you mine.
I checked the restaurants for available wireless networks, none. The Slenaken restaurant didn't even have a computer...welcome to the jungle. So we have to do the meeting without an online connection. I'll bring my laptop anyway, comes in handy for exchanging pics.

well I have a nice message as Iwill attend the meeting with my eldest son Willem (he is 10 years old but he - almost- knows more about car-details than his 45 years old dad
I am a bit confused though where we meet but I can fully agree with Chateau Neercanne. (a great place to stay and have some lunch.)
Please let someone email me for exact details.
TIA
Michiel
