We can do another meet up at the Brooklyn's pizza some other Saturday - if we do it in the afternoon, we'll catch a nice meet up with all kinds off exotics right there in the adjacent parking lot too
Yeah, that's the Ferrari/Lambo/other exotics meet, right?

By the way, Victor, Adam and I did the Bear Mountain twisties drive after our Ross Docks meet was over. Props to Gregg for coming up with that awesome route.

The highlight occurred in the twisties off the Gate Hill Road exit going down towards Route 9W. When I was bombing the twisties, I caught up to the brand new, silver Porsche Boxster. He thought that he could lose me and tried to do exactly that. He was wrong and I was right behind him for about 5 minutes at total full tilt. He looked amazed that a pesky, large sedan could someone keep pace with his little fast coupe. Eventually, after about 5 minutes, he gave up and pulled off the road. Victor loved it and was crackling the whole time during the pursuit.

well, I know C doesn't use his anyway...

but I've been thinking - you know, borrowing an M5 is so... err... "peasant"- I might as well borrow a nice Alpina B7, while I'm on the borrowing streak

Yes that's really slumming it.

Yep, that's the meet!

I should've gone to the twisties with you, but I had to meet up with a friend in Fort Lee and then run up to Exit 2 off Palisades to meet my family. And props for putting that Boxster driver in place

He really was astonished. The 550i with Sport Package really is an amazing class-leading handler. Sometimes, its grip in harrowing situations shocks me. It is so tenacious in clinging to the road.

Now imagine how much better it is in a 6 cyl car with a better weight distribution!

BTW I drove my friend's 535 yesterday - the delay without the sprintbooster is just retarded! I think you should really consider it, man. I mean, I obviously have not driven your 550, so I can't be sure, but if it is like other stock 5ers, I know you'll be a believer in no time

I concur. I am amazed at how quickly the 550i can be driven on a twisty road. The power and balance can literally match an E46 M3. It's only slightly faster with pretty equal drivers. See:
