Blimey your talking about a chipped / dms 535d though ?
Yip, and better brakes than the M3, not sure on the suspension. However the M3 is lighter!

Hey IMU!

Looks like you had fun bro congrats on teh experience!

Had a quick question, what kit is that on your car, it looks so sweet?

In your sig it says its the M Mobility Package? Is this different from the M Tech?

Do you have any clear daytime pics of your car?

What rules you must obey when a fastest car closes up from behind?

Are there any? Is normal insurance valid on the track?

Thanks again all.

To answer a few q's:

@Heat - I have the M-Tech kit with ACS front corner splitters - the 'M' mobility kit is an instant tyre puncture repair kit I bought when I upgraded to 19" wheels (it comes with the M5 as the M5s do not have runflats or space saver wheel) -- i have since also purchased the space saver wheel;

@BetterMakeWay - agreed - Steve (SG535d) can do it

@mhoutman - that Z4M Roadster had his accident seconds before I arrived at the Karrusel, he must have exited the Karrusel and put the power down too qucikly and was piled into the barrier. By the time I reached that part of the circuit all I saw was an official waving the yellow flag, which prevented me from being able to go onto the karrusel - it was a real shame that car must have been a week or so old car. We were drooling over it in the car park before he went out. My friend saw the driver afterwards holding his head in his hands

@big_ipaq - when you see a faster car approach from behind, move to right hand part of the road and indicate to allow him/her to pass safely. Track etiquette is quite good on the 'Ring

AFAIK - no UK insurance co will cover you for the 'Ring. Although the circuit is classed as a de-restricted german public-toll road, UK insurance co's have become wise to the goings on at the circuit so they have excluded it from most policies.

where did you dream of this ?

the standard brakes are awful. Your brakes costs around 4000pounds, enough to do all the things in the next post

44seconds is no small feat at all

if we go one comparing m3 vs dms 535d, then lets compare tweaked cars.

http://www.kelleners-sport.de/english/3er/...e46m3_motor.htm

K.sport S-Modul
release of top speed, top speed; 285 kph

K.sport Rear Axle Gear KS M 3/46
shortened axle transmission, conversion to 3:91, axle gear in replacement

K.sport Airbox
for M3,not csl,power plus approximately 10 HP(airbox,filter bracket,and airfilter)
only fitting with airbox-chip tuning(see chip tuning)

K.sport Motorkit KS M 3/46
performance approx. 22 kW (30 HP); conversion: two K.sport camshaft, K.sport catalysts, modified ECU (max. 8200 rpm), rear silencer,K-sport sport modul, special airfilter; 0-100 kph in 5,0 sec., top speed 290 kph; fitting incl.

and its still a NA engine. Do a Nowack supercharged conversion for 560bhp and youll be doing 7:30

heck , you can even just chip it, like i did with mine http://wetterauer.de/chiptuning/datenblatt...&diagramm_id=81

for higher torque at all revs, and a rev limiter set back by 450rpm
