Once you're at the Ring your brake-in will be done...
Anyways, you could be a passenger and have some fun there too.

I am still trying to figure out where to spend the night. The ring doesn't open till 13:15 on Saturday so I was thinking about driving to a hotel near the ring Friday evening after the show and spending the night there in N?rburg. That will make for a nice relaxing morning on Saturday. Plus it seems most of the hotels in Frankfurt are already booked Can anyone PM me with there hotel plans?

They have a lot of parking at the Messe (with shuttle bus service) and it was free if I remember so I will probably just park there. Also if you decide to park some where else and ride public trans you show ticket counts for your return journey so you only need a one-way ticket.

As for a meeting place..... I don't really care - maybe near the BMW hall?? Any other suggestions?

The shuttle is free, not the parking.

Runs from Saturday, September 17, 2005 - Sunday, September 25, 2005.

Let's pick a day and meet at the show!

Me too! Please keep me in mind for any activities around the IAA and any other regarding the E-60. Drop me a PM if you'd like and let me know about the "Plant visit" - what plant visit - I WANT TO GO!!! : -)

About the ring - I don't have my car yet but I can bring my Cobra (Everett-Morrison) and smoke y'alls... : - )

I will definitely be at the IAA - share day, time and place and we'll be there. Let me know what all is going on.

Thanks and I'm looking forward to meet all you local guys. I'm salivating over ordering my 550i soon.

Santiago.

I have been checking my summer plans and it looks like I will be able to attend the show on any of the following days.....

Trade Days
Thursday, September 15, 2005 or Friday, September 16, 2005
or....
Public Days
Saturday, September 17, 2005 or Sunday, September 18, 2005

My first choice based on mhoutman's comments is....

Trade Day - Friday, September 16, 2005

Let's try to nail down a date that works for most of us?

How can we attend on Trade Days? I'd go on Friday if I could - I'd take vacation to do so if I have to. The 2003 show was a zoo on the public day.

COUNT ME IN!!! How do I hook up with you guys??

Santiago

Getting close now What's the plan for Friday night, stay in Frankfurt or Nurburg?

We need to get accomodation booked for Nurburg - who plans to stay what nights, and what kind of accomodation do you prefer?

I'll start:

SG535d - Thurs night: Frankfurt, Fri night: Frankfurt or Nurburg, Sat night: Nurburg, Sun night: Nurburg - hotel required for 4 nights.

Steve...

I plan to arrive in Frankfurt on the 15th evening. My idea for myself is:

15, 16 : 2 nights in Frankfurt
17 am - drive to Nurburg and stay there for 2 nights.
19 am leave Nurburg and drive to Buchloe (Alpina) where I am meeting 6SpdMan who is flying in from Singapore and going to Salzburg for a week. I'll then drive on back to Prague through the night on the 19th - or stay in Munich and drive back 20th am.

Will phone you this weekend about hotel ideas... haven't decided yet. Going to talk with Kigerka and UltraPlanet too.

All the Best

Tim

PS. Received a message from Dominic in NY who will be sending me the PAL idrive interface units for testing on Monday. Should arrive in the UK on Wednesday. I am getting prototype 6.5" interface and the 8.8" interface. Yippee!!!
