There is also a track in Sebring, Fl. Its a bit more North and Central. Not trying to lengthen the discussion but just provide another option to consider with regards to the price for reserving the track etc. I know they also already have several clubs that use the track.

There is a track map and other info on their website.

Makes no difference to me as a road trip to Miami is always fun as well.

Renting a race track and having a cookout would be a lot of fun. Whatever we need to do let's do it!

I will cal them up and look in to it. Sebring is only 137 miles from Miami which is not bad. I need to check availability and prices. Will get back to you all tomorrow. I agree with Rogerj, we can plan a cookout at the track and turn this into our yearly flagship meeting; however, I would like to pick a more viable location for regular/ongoing meetings.

Sounds great thank you for organizing this!

Greetings from Weston. Looking forward to any events that are coordinated.

Im new to the area. Suggestions for good shops for mods like suspension, exhaust and ecu upgrades for our cars?
Thanks!

Yeah, you could all meet at Zafer's house, and provide him with the same courtesy he gave the members of this Forum. I'll give you his address, his vehicle info, his hangout spots, and a photo. Make sure you wear gloves!!
Most definitely!!! Maybe I'll even fly over and join 'em!!!! Damn bastard that Tony.....

How about Sunday, January 25th??? Say 1:00 PM? We need to think of a place convenient for most members (I'm trying to make easy for Krozy); I'll say somewhere in Weston by Town Center Plaza...the roads are nice out west. However, I would encourage members to come up with locations as well, this is the first location that comes to mind! Let's hear from everyone...
Since most of the replies seem to be from the Fort Lauderdale, Davie, Pembroke, Etc area's. This doesn't sound bad at all.

I believe this Zafer character is before my time or perhaps I am too new to E60 world...details
He's a very nice gentleman that sold parts here at the forum. Albeit, nobody ever received them...

Not sure if there's any availability (or how much it costs) but I think Palm Beach International Raceway would be much closer than Sebring (but obviously not as close as Homestead...)

Have fun everyone!

Ouch...somehow I suspected of something like that! We just need to be careful with these walk of life characters...
