Brannie:

Congrats on your new ride ! Ignore the unregistered dumbsh1t. We want your comments here about your car, your trip, and any German women that you encounter. Please do not spare any details. Please post photos of your new baby. Lots of them. Also you should visit the Augustiner Beer Garden and hoist a few for me. Try the sauerbraten with spatzel or potato pancakes. Very traditional German Beer Garden. Enjoy.

And yes, I am also the frustrated user from the other thread.

I am a registered user but prefer to remain anon when criticising because you people have made it clear to others in the past that you don't like criticism... and tough luck because life is full of it.

The rules are that topics are kept on topic... if I want inane babbling I can turn on American television... a string of messages saying hello is just NOT what the threads are for.

You have no right to tell me to leave or not read if I don't like it because in fact that is the way it is supposed to be done.

That is why there is a lounge.

But tell me - if you see a topic of interest with 4 replies and then see that all 4 are people saying 'Hello' would you not find that a waste of time?

and to call me a dumb**** is rude, uncalled for and also against the rules of this place... and my comment is more in place than that calling for details of encounters with German women -- if that is what you want then find a place to do it because e60.net is NOT the place for it. -- moderators, please back me up here.

and since i don't really care anymore and probably won't ever post, I am skidster.
there.
I am no longer anonymous.

but
I doubt that you really care and that my message, anon or otherwise, will be ignored in the scramble to grab bananas

cheers, for the backup, Browellm.... now for the last time i am outta here (this was a brief visit back but, mods: please feel free to wipe my user id as i will not abide people with an iq half of mine cursing at me

bye

Hear me out, or ignore me, your choice... but be warned that this is a rant, albeit my final one and, in all, a brief one.

when i first found e60.net it was an oasis in the internet desert of high noise/low signal: and that was not only because it did not have the crap we all have seen on roadfly
and not simply because such crap was not tolerated, but because, for some inexplicable reason, members / guests were respectful...

and not only did the silliness, flaming, etc. not happen here, neither did, for the most part, off-topic stuff, like baby stuff, tourism hints for EDs, hellos and welcomes and all that (but we did have one dummy banging on about doc diesels bouncing boobs, i do recall!)

as for more photos of yet another e60, well, they are a waste of resources - take your pics, enjoy your pics, there are two on my street, in addition to mine so haven't we all seen the car by now?

i liked the board better the way it was, with the smaller numbers - okay, so i am resistent to change - as is my right. a few months back i stepped away from visiting the board and while i did miss it i did not miss the frustration that i felt listening to people babbling...

and i guess that this is what this is all about - sorry if some find this insulting or elitist but the board was once far more intelligent and, now it is not. that is what i am complaining about.

Some of you understand precisely what i am saying. Cheers.

and my last word, Branie: look a little harder - Munich is full of beautiful women (trust me)

I don't agree but I respect your dissent.

Not we all are obliged to feel same thoughts.

May I suggest you a period of relax, avoid stress please and make a reservation for a good specialist doctor.

Excuse me for my very poor english, I am conscious of that.

see, this is what i mean by non-intelligent...

he says that he respectfully disagrees - and then he makes a low shot about seeing a specialist doctor

which means he does not respectfully disagree

and this is nothing to do with his language....

I really don't understand why you are so angry. If this board has changed and no longer suits your needs that's fine. You are not required to log in and become frustrated. This is just a Web discussion with some guidelines for efficiency. If someone wanders off topic a bit or posts an extra picture that's fine. This is the lively art of conversation (albeit electronic)! No need to be so hostile.

Sorry skidster, while some may agree w/ you about the content of some threads, after your cheap comment about beautiful women in Munich, which was clearly a nasty shot directed at his wife in the photos, you have no leg to stand on here! You keep saying that this is your last post, please keep your word.

There WAS NO shot at his wife - she seems a fine looking woman...

the comment was because i have lived in Munich and it is in fact full of beautiful women.

i would NEVER make such a comment. I have class, unlike yourself.

and his wife in fact, looks fine to me, thank you very much.

skidster, not only do you clearly lack the class you claim to have, but you are a liar as well. Let me refresh your short memory. Here is the exact quote you made in your earlier post:

"and my last word, Branie: look a little harder - Munich is full of beautiful women (trust me)"

Telling him to "look a little harder" is clearly aimed at the picture of him and his wife. If you're me telling otherwise, I'm afraid I just don't believe you. He made no comments about trying to meet women in Munich, he simply desrcibed what a lovely time he and his wife were having. You brought up the subject.

Now if you don't like the threads, don't read them. Just by looking at either the subject or first post, I can tell you there are many threads I don't read either. I don't know what has gotten into you this evening.
