So when is the voting officially closed? If MPLS is the winner, I'm out. I can't swing that drive in a weekend, just started a new job and can't really take vacation during the first few months... 
Chicago is about 4 hours away from where I live, while Minneapolis works out to about 11.5 hours says google maps. However...if we choose a midpoint as Audi_Eatter suggests, it could be Milwaukee, WI. Its about 6.5 hours from where 'Z' and I live in Michigan and it takes about 5.5 hours from Minneapolis.
What do you guys think?

If anyone cares, dead center between the two is Kenosha, Wisconsin (6 hrs 5 min from Minn and 6 hrs 4 min from Rochester Hills, MI where I live)

Z, I started the date poll over again because some people were conflicted on the dates. Guys please vote again!! Also, is looks as though MPLS guys aren't willing to drive to CHI and CHI guys aren't willing to drive to MPLS. Perhaps we should each have our own meet or we need to decide on somewhere in the middle in Wisconsin?
Vote and post up your ideas!! Post the date most convenient for all of you and then I will start another thread with the new dates and location!!

I'm still for August 23rd in Chicago... However, I'm still up for a midpoint meet up in Wisconsin. I guess there's some nice cheese to partake of...
If we go separate meets, then Chicago guys, would you be willing to come to Detroit for the Woodward Ave. Dream Cruise (August 16th)? We could do the southern Midwest section meet here and the Minnesota kids can have their northern Midwest meet in MPLS. Just my thoughts...

My Ride: 2008 535xi -- took delivery January 24th, 2008 -- Space Gray w/black dakota leather interior and Bamboo Anthracite wood trim, Sport Package / Premium Package / Cold Weather Package / Logic7 / Bluetooth / IPOD / NAV / 18" Star Spoke 124s...BUT I could not resist the M Aero Kit, tinting the windows and adding front/rear blacked-out Roundels
It has been awhile since I posted...greetings to all that I have yet to meet!
OK...I messed up...voted for Chicago, but with the t-storms we are having right now, I lost connectivity for awhile and do not think my vote for Chicago registered....
I have to side with the CHI-town boys, but I will say that I would consider Mpls...
One more thing...I am going out to NYC ... just for C...you should reciprocate for us Midwest kids...
Hope this happens, been looking forward to a midwest meet for awhile....
