My Ride: 2011 550i AW - every option
I've been waiting for one of these since becoming a first time BMW & E60 owner.
My official stance is Chicago - Aug 23rd for sure. Aug 30th is a bust for me. Labor day weekend booked.
So what happens at these meets? I've never been to any sort of meet.
I hope we can get at least 30 people to show up. I think a gang of E60's rolling through Chicago would look pretty sick.

My Ride: 10 Honda Fit Sport, 10 Honda Pilot Touring
Z, nice to have you on board. 
This is a first for me as well! We would get together and all meet up at a central location which looks like it would be in Chicago somewhere. Introduce ourselves, take some photos, admire each others cars and then go for a safe well orchestrated drive preferable down some non-patrolled roads with a scenic view. After the drive we would meet up at a preplanned restaurant for lunch that would be able to accommodate all 11 of us. 
Then head out for another scenic drive. Any ideas or suggestions are always welcome!

My Ride: 2008 BMW 535i- Steptronic Trans, Sirius Satellite Radio, Bluetooth, BMW Assist, Black Dakota Leather, Cold Weather Package, Premium Package
Potential ideas on things we should do (if Chicago is the place):
Drive en masse down Lake Shore Drive or Michigan Ave. w/ BMW flags flying!(Sounds cheesy, but I wouldn't mind).
There's an exotic car dealership (Fletcher Jones?) off Rush St. we could go visit stage our cars by. Organize a few group/car pictures at some local spots.
Dinner at Giordanos Pizza? Cubs game?
Let me know what you guys were thinking.
