OK. SUPER NEWS, sort of...We now have permission to get on the property as it is all owned by my Dad's friend. the only issue is that the 2 runways are owned by the Town and there are some senitivities that I can not get into on this board.
So, we are going to be in good shape for getting there, entering and the 7k ft runway is the only one we can come near to (although at our own risk)...Good news again is that I also now have a contact at the Township that I can use as well as cell phone numbers,etc.
We need to be discrete and keep this to a small number of cars...10 is max I am thinking.
Calton, call me this afternoon as I have an amazing thing to discuss beyond all of this!

My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.

A typical 550 can do the quarter mile at 13.5 secs at 105 miles per hour, figure another 13.5 sec or another half a mile for 185 mph (avg 145 mph for 13.5 secs) . Thats 3/4 mile for acceleration, which leaves you with half a mile to stop. Sounds doable, right?
