Update- I spoke to my contact over at Calverton. He said that neither runway is being used currently but that the FAA has license over the 10,000 ft runway. The 7,000 ft runway is just sitting there. He said that we could NOT get permission to run on it but that physically there is nothing stopping us from accessing it. The only risk would be if someone sees us and is bothered by us and calls the cops. He suggested that we try the 7,000 ft runway as the FAA would not get involved if we get caught.
He offered to meet me there to show exactly how to access the runway which I will do. A Sunday morning might be better as less industrial companies will have employees there.
Within the next few weeks I will meet with him and scope it out. Does anyone have any idea has fast we can get up to and then stop on a mile and a half ?

We can drag for pink slips...I know that Calton wears one and I want it! HAHAHA
You'll be behind me the whole time killer, so you might want to consider getting a "bra" for your little biatch, before we get out there. Unless of course, you like stone chips all over your hood. Biiiiiiiiiya! Hahahahaha!

As for top speed- 1.3 miles will allow you to go all of the way to top speed and slam on the brakes.

I'm going this Sunday, regardless. My Dad is a pilot and I will ask if he has juice out there. Regardless, I'm in. I say we go 2x2 drag down the strip, turn around get out, wait and do it again...repeat repeat repeat. Calton, load up on 110 baby!
