Whats up guys. Had a good time for the short part I was there. By the time we got up 87 I had to turn around and go to the city like I told C I had to. Unfortunately. haha. Getting onto 87 was insane. A few of my friends called me up and were like are you apart of this crazy sh-t? haha. Good times. Looking forward to the next one and staying the whole time (non stock!)

C...thanks for being an awesome guy....as far as the great debate M5/6 vs AMG E63 goes.....C you showed me the answer on the ride back home....M POWER!!!
Ed - Great meeting you! That was so funny when I called you after we got on the Hutch and asked if you were with us. You said, yep, you were already in the pack. I was ahead and all of a sudden, I looked in my rear and saw you guys coming up fast. That was sick! We then just took off to the Tappan Zee. So fun!

As for the ride home, that was a bit nutty. After we passed the 6+ troopers and my V1 decided to take a rest, I had to have some more fun with Albert and his E63 AMG. Going from 80mph to 130mph+, in a matter of seconds, was exhilarating!!!

Definitely CF Caps...Only way to roll...I lost a weight on my rim for balancing...sticky piece is there, but no more weight...HAHAHA

Also, my oil is gone...RED TRIANGLE on...I burned through 2 Qts or something...
I had 0.1L of Oil left in my car when I got home. The M has a ton of Oil Notifications, both on the instrument cluster and iDrive and it gave me a warning of "EXTREMELY LOW OIL". I was afraid it was going to reach 0.0L before I got home. And it didn't help that we (poleposition, and Albert (E63 AMG)) were flying home on the LIE. I think we made it to our exits in 5 minutes from the Cross Island. Hahahahaha!

I'm off to Habberstad tomorrow to buy a full case of 10W-60. I'm thinking 3+ quarts are needed.

I know that my M5 requires 10w60, but over at M5 board, 5W30 vs 10W60 is the quintescential thread that never died.

I'm not sure what your car would use. But I'm pretty sure that it's gonna be synthetic.

You need Synthetic Gregg. BMW recommends 10W-60 for all the E60's, but you can use 5W-30 as well. 10W-60 is not cheap though...$10 a quart, according to Diny and some other threads I read. I guess I'll find out tomorrow, after I buy that case.
