I was thinking of doing a drive up near mine road, and then up to high point. Then maybe cheescake factory at the Menlo Park Mall. I was thinking 12/28 or 12/29. Of course you would have to have off from work, or maybe we could go the 2nd. Let me know if you are interested.

 

Here is the route I am planning. It's about 2 hours total. It has a lot of curves and awesome scenery. We could go to the Rockaway Mall afterwards maybe.

Date: January 2nd 2010
Time: 12pm
Place: Last rest stop in NJ on Route 80 west. It's after exit 4A. You will see a McDonalds and Days Inn. Parking will be at McDonalds.
The drive to High Point will be close to 2 hours, so we can fill up at the rest stop before we leave if need be. Then we will take some pictures at High Point, and then go to the mall for dinner.

Running with winter shoes but I'd be up for a little cruise.

 

Sunday is kind of up in the air due to the weather the next few days. I'll have to see the situatuion on saturday afternoon. I went up there on monday, and the only issue I may see is road salt / small gravel. We will have to stay about 3-4 car lengths away from each other. Other than that the route was pretty good. I am bringing walkies. I will take one, and I'll give the other to someone that will be mid pack. Anyway, if the weather sucks, we will reschedule for January 17th.

 

Tomorrow's weather is supposed to be snow. I am rescheduling for Sunday January 17th at noon. Let me know if you can still make it, and I will update the list.
