Good idea Tony.

Is there any way we can have a couple of the same badges that we are getting made for Mark and Dave (maybe even the T-Shirts too)? We can make them honorary attendees in the Central Cali Meet and express our thanks for all they have done with starting and hosting this Site. I would be willing to contribute toward getting them badges, T-shirts, hats....
It's a great idea, Rody. I'll contribute as well.

I didn't reply sooner b/c it got lost in all the banter. It's unbelievable we have 50+ pages, 760 posts and over 11,000 views and the Meet is still nine days away.

Hey Rody. CoolTones (Tony) is the one driving the logo items so that's why I didn't chime in. He's usually pretty busy and only jumps on and posts once in a while to give us an update.

We had a cut off to place orders for the polos and at the same time, I sent in the list of potential attendees with everyone's handle and real name. The ones on that list will have engraved badges with their handle and name but I know Tony was going to get some extra blank ones (with just the E60.net logo) and print out names on a Brother printer at the meet. Sooo...I think it might be too late to get Mark and Dave the engraved badges and the polos as well. But I will check with Tony to see if there are any extra shirts. Or maybe extra caps.

But yeah, I do agree you have a great idea and wish we had thought of it sooner.

Yeah.....I thought it might have been too late already, but decided to ask anyway. I guess blank badges would be OK too. Since there is no deadline for having Mark's and Dave's badges ready by the meet (after all they won't be there), maybe the engraver can still do it and have it ready on a later date......even if they are done a few weeks after the meet it would still be OK. I guess we should see what Tony (CoolTones) has to say about this and see whether it's even do-able.

Hey, I got in touch with CoolTones earlier. We're gonna get Lomag, Das, Iceman and Rudy all E60.net polos and caps!!! I think those are more important than the badges but we'll see if we can eventually do the badges at some point. But here's to CoolTones for coming through for us again!!

I sent PMs to Lomag, Das, Iceman and Rudy to get their shirt sizes.

Thanks for making this happen ECF and CoolTones...........and not just for Mark and Dave but also Rudy and Iceman

Just PM me the cost and I'll either contribute the whole amount or we can divide it between whoever is interested (I think Joe offered to contribute too).

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDANCE. I'M SENDING IN THE FINAL HEADCOUNT FOR THE LUNCH THIS EVENING.

FOR THE TENTATIVE FOLKS OR ANY NEWCOMERS, IF YOU'RE STILL UNABLE TO COMMIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE OF THE MEET DATE, WE STILL WELCOME YOU WITH OPEN ARMS. WE'LL JUST HAVE TO FIGURE SOMETHING ELSE OUT FOR YOUR LUNCH. THE WINE TASTING AND DINNER IS A BIT MORE FLEXIBLE.

TODAY IS ALSO THE LAST DAY TO BOOK YOUR HOTEL ROOM WITH THE $130 NEGOTIATED RATE.

Tony, I can't remember if you discussed how the prize winners were going to be chosen yet. I suggest we award one to the oldest E60.net member from the attendees (not by age, but by Member Number) .................we should let him chose which prize he wants.
