Hello folks!

At last count I had 8 participants for this Saturday's meet in Milton. Can you please confirm if you are attending and if you will bring guests with you - families welcome! If you didn't get a PM from me then please send me a PM and I will add you to the mailing list.

Details are below. It is very very easy to get to Crawford Lake. And since we will likely be there for at least a half hour or so before moving on it should give stragglers plenty of time to catch up - although since you all drive super fast bimmers, being late is NOT fashionable...lol

As for lunch, as of now I can think of four options. Suggestions welcome. 1,2 and 3 require reservations so please confirm numbers ASAP.

1. Lowville Bistro - http://www.lowville.ca/
2. Mt. Nemo Restaurant - http://www.mountnemo.ca/
3. Ned Devine's - http://www.neddevines.ca/
4. Trail Eatery - No website, its a diner, good old greasy food and massive pie slices
5. Any suggestions in Burlington - Nick1970?

The maple syrup festival is on at Mountsberg so if you want to bring your family and go there on your own after lunch, here is a link http://www.conservationhalton.on.ca/...fm?itemid=3512

Weather forecast is sunny 8C - but after the winter we have had, who cares!

The date will be Saturday, April 04. We will meet at the Crawford Lake Conservation Area in Milton. It is located at the intersection of Guelph Line and Steeles Ave. Please see link below for a map to the location and GPS coordinates - very easy to get to. I will take care of the entrance fees.

Lets aim to meet at 11AM.

Proposed Itinerary

11:00 Arrive at Crawford Lake (Milton)
11:15-11:45 Tour Crawford Lake (on foot, e60s stay in the parking lot tongue.gif ) There is a glacial lake with a board walk around the entire lake and neat 14th Century Iroquoian Village
11:45-12:45 Driving tour taking us around the escarpment with stops at Mountsberg and Rattlesnake Point (20km loop).
1:00-2:00 Lunch (location TBD)
2:00PM - Departure or tour other parks on your own - Your complimentary entrance pass will be good for several other conservation areas for the day - all within a 10KM radius.

With the exception of the meeting time and location, we can tweak the rest of the itinerary if necessary.

Cheers to those who signed up - I am looking forward to meeting everyone on Saturday.

Thullz

It's happening today Baby! We're not afraid of a little cold, windy, April weather! Besides, the sun shines when E60's come together!

* GTA MEET - 11am - Crawford Lake, Milton, Ontario. *

Hope to see you all there!

Hi Bambi. We missed you. Sorry that you couldn't make it.

I started a new thread with the story. I should have put a link here. Sorry.
