I know it it is a long shot but I think that would be nice, after four years, to arrange another BMW World Wide Meeting like we did in 2006.
The main idea is to meet ass much as possible of us BMW enthusiast in South Bavaria and visit the Dingolfing production plant so we would see the birth of the incoming F10/F11 model and the day after the FIZ (Development and innovation Center) and the BMW Welt in Munich.
The Idea would be to arrange it sometimes in July. To be able to arrange the meeting with BMW AG I think we have to know in good time how many of us would attend.
So let's see if we can put something together.

BMW Welt and Dingolfing plant tour sounds like a great combination. I'm interested.

I'm in

We did a smaller Euro meet there in summer 2009 (link in my signatature) and have some great routes for cruising, fast twisting roads and long straight stretches of derestricted autobahn. I also have "PM" lists, which are useful for getting awareness going / chasing people for inputs. Just PM me if you need any help

Would be an awesome experience! Not sure though if I still will be driving the appropriate brand by then But in worst case I can just lurk around here and sneak after you guys anyway. How's your new ride btw? Pretty damn nice I guess

In principle I am up for it. I know a number of Nordic country members were interested in doing a meet and there are some huge events in Sweden that we could tag along with -- that's what I was planning on suggesting some time soon. In addition, the Benelux members are always up for a meet. I have "PM Lists" for both, so am willing to make those available. I tried something like this last year in Munich and it was all too difficult for a number of members because we do not have to many any near there. I am not looking in here too often, so just PM me if you want any inputs / feedback

Guys, I've been away and silent for a looooooong while, but am slowly getting back into the forum. Just saw this item and would definitely be interested in taking part.

Believe this thread deserves another BUMP. Where are we heading to this summer? Scandinavia, Nordic, Munich?

Having just done a 2-week 4500km round trip through Denmark / Germany / Austria in the 550i, I would do another trip to North Germany for the Autobahns alone !!!!!

Otherwise I would suggest Denmark / Sweden for a 1-day event, so X3MKing can take us on that awesome cross country drive again!
