Hey guys, what do you think about the Best Western Pepper Tree Inn ($144 - $180) a night on Expedia. It's about a mile from the showgrounds and is on State Street.

I'm also going to send an email to the people who said they were staying over (kC_GiRL, MikeBuzzsaw, SoCalM5Mang, Torquey5). I'm also suggesting that we do the official dinner at the showgrounds on Fri evening. It's $30 a person and you can pay for it when you register on Bimmerfest. What do you guys think?

I'm in... let me know what to do so I can cancel out of Ramada. Looks like Best Western is closer to the fair grounds too. As for the dinner, well, you know where I am with that...

They told me about that but they also said you didn't get back to them so they were offering me your room just now. hahahahaha Better call them back.

That's dirt cheap, are you guys staying at some hourly motel? hehe

I want to stay right in SB and don't feel like driving another half hour south.

Thanks Tony! I'm game for watever. I have no preference, but I'll keep my reservations at Ramada for now on the safe side.

Okay guys. I've decided on a hotel; the Best Western Pepper Tree Inn: https://www.reservationpage.com/C00178/H00197/index.asp

It's about a mile from the Earl Warren Showgrounds and located right on State Street. If you call direct, the room rate is $179 but I got them to give us the Expedia rate for $144 if you stay both Fri and Sat and $153 if you're only staying one night. Right now they have a lot of rooms with 1 King left but only a few with 2 beds.

If you want a room, call 1-805-687-5511 and ask for Jennifer or just tell whoever that you're there for Bimmerfest and was referred by Tony for the rates mentioned above. A few of us have booked our rooms already and we asked for the 2nd floor to get a balcony. If you want, you can request a room near us and they'll try to accommodate during check in.
