Going up on Sat. morning and will know in a few weeks if I will stay on Saturday night. Have a room already for Fri & Sat. I prob. won't need the room on Fri.

Oops! I got the dates confused and drove all the way up to Santa Barbara this past weekend, thinking it was Bimmerfest. My mistake. Turns out is was actually SchwimmerFest, the world festival celebrating the life and accomplishments of actor David Schwimmer...you know, Ross from Friends. It wasn't a total bust, because I came away with this excellent autographed photo of Schwimmer as a baby. (Should be worth $$$ on eBay in a few years.)

I haven't made any plans for Friday yet. Seems like most of the SoCal guys are just driving up on Sat for the day and driving back that evening. For the NorCal group, only a few of us are confirmed so far. Torquey5 and I have rooms reserved at the Ramada with the BayBimmerz group from here but not sure if we'll stay there. I'll email you with info and take this discussion offline.
For dinner, we can either do the Bimmerfest dinner which is held at the showgrounds as well for $30 a person (you can sign up on Bimmerfest's website) or do something with just the E60.net group. So far though, it doesn't look like a big showing for Fri evening from this site.
