I don't think this has been posted yet (if it has, sorry for the re-post).

BMWCCA's LA Chapter has organized a tour of BMW's Vehicle Distribution Center (VDC) in Oxnard, CA on Saturday NOV. 3, 2007. I went to the one two years ago and it was pretty interesting. It costs $12 per person and you have to either be a BMWCCA or Mini owners club member to attend, or come with a friend who is one. They also, serve lunch after the tour......last time it was a BBQ lunch.

Here are a couple of links to the Information/application form. The first is a pdf file and the second is a Word file (you can't register online, you have to actually send the form with a check to them):

Hey Joe.....are you a BMWCCA member? I've already signed up, so I can't add more people to my guest list, but if you're not a member maybe you can convince Eric to sign up and add you to his list.

Are you coming Eric?

Great

It seems like there aren't many people that are interested in going on this tour. I don't want to make it seem like it's something out of this world.....it's not like touring the Dingolfing factory or anything, but still it is cool to see....at least for a BMW enthusiast.

I bet there are many people around the country who would love to see the VDC but they don't live close enough to one, and even if they did the opportunity to see the place is very rare. So I think that SoCal members should make an effort to see it since the opportunity is there once every couple of years.
