I'm thinking of taking a day trip up the twisties from Wickenburg to Prescott, and possibly on to Sedona on November 19th, 20th, or 21st. If anyone is interested in making this a mini-caravan, speak up!
The view is spectacular, and the twisties are wonderful, at least as I remember them back when I had my 325is in the early '90s.
Here is the route. Follow Hwy 89. I'll be starting from around Hwy 74 and I-17, probably around 9AM or so.

This is a great drive on a motorcycle! I haven't done it in a car, however I'm sure it would be exciting in an e60.
I can't make it during the weekdays, but if your open to do this on a weekend, count me in. (or a weekday after 5pm, nice evening drive through the twisties and back roads at night)

I just happened to take those days off, so I'm free of kids (school) and wife (kids in school, so she's happy ), so that's when I can make it this go-around. I'm up for another run in the near future, though!

I'm training some new employees but I may be able to get one of those days off of work. I'll be sure to keep you informed.
Unfortunetly, a lot of lives have been lost on those rodes. I do miss my Yamaha R1!

Indeed it is! I used to hit it with my Interceptor back in the days. Unfortunately, I lost a good friend on that road.
