Count me in. When you finalize the place and time please post. It will give me a chance to try out my Garmin C320 GPS unit. As far as eating goes, count me in as well.

Hey Ya'll:

Sunday, July 24th is STILL ON! ? We can meet at 9am, or earlier, at the Starbucks on Gould Ave., in the plaza just north of Foothill Blvd.? We can drive up to Mt. Wilson, (just because that road has few miles of nice tight turns)...then come back to the main highway and continue up the mountain.? There is a restaurant, Newcombs Ranch, where we can stop for brunch or come back to La Canada and have lunch down there.? (Newcombs may be packed because it's the only dining available for miles.)? Just a little BMW "I ACCEPT" waiver that everyone is on their own regarding getting or not getting a permit to stop on the mountain...should a ranger request to see a permit.? (Your supposed to have one if you stop anywhere on the mountain.? Anyone have experience with this?)? Anyway the drive is on, I'll start the list:

Shoot, I'd love to come meet/greet/drive, but off to Milwaukee on friday for business 'til following wednesday. I grew up in La Canada-Flintridge, parents still live there, and used to have all kinds of fun cruising up/down/all over Angeles Crest. Switzers camp is a good half way break point. Will try next time. Have fun!

It isn't a "Family Plan" it is "Family Planning".

I am still optomistic I would be able to go, my doctor said I might be ok to go on Sunday. I am thinking of inviting a friend to drive just in case I need pain meds. Any other gents in my position think I might be well enough for a long car ride?

Nothing an ice pack can't fix! (Bring a donut to sit on!) But seriously, good luck! I'm off right now to try another run...up the same mountain...different route which I found on an M3 forum.
